Master Divek Murthy is 9 years old boy suffering from congenital heart disease. S/p BT shunt (done in 2017). Now he requires Redo-Biventricular Repair (Biventricular repair is a complex procedure that can address a small right or left ventricle that isn’t large enough or strong enough to function normally. Children with these defects can be addressed in different ways) and he needs to undergo an open heart surgery at the earliest. Due to their financial condition they had been going door to door for financial support and hence could not treat him. His health started deteriorating day by day and they took him to Apollo Children’s Hospitals Chennai. Doctors informed them that he requires an urgent second open heart surgery as early as possible. The approximate cost for the treatment of Master Divek Murthy is Rs. 8,00,000/-.
