Baby Shravani Thorahatte is 6 years old girl suffering from VSD with PAH (It is considered as pulmonary arterial hypertension associated with congenital heart disease such as associated with a VSD or ASD (either repaired or unrepaired. Elevated pulmonary artery pressure in congenital heart disease is caused by pulmonary over circulation, pulmonary vasoconstriction and pulmonary vascular disease either alone or in combination). She requires an Open Heart Surgery. Due to their financial condition they had been going door to door for financial support and hence could not treat Baby Shravani Thorahatte. Her health started deteriorating day by day and they took her to MGM New Bombay Hospital, Vashi. Doctors informed them that she needs to undergo surgery as early as possible. The approximate cost for the surgery of Baby Shravani Thorahatte is Rs. 2,25,000/-.
